(Nasdaq: VECO), announced today that Epistar Corporation, headquartered in Taiwan, has recently qualified Veeco's TurboDisc(R) K465i(TM) gallium nitride (GaN) Metal Organic Chemical Vapor Deposition (MOCVD) System for high volume light emitting diode (LED) production.
